How to Get There:

Take a bus at the South Bus Terminal travelling to Oslob or Bato. Ask to be dropped off at the Dalaguete junction (3 hours travel time). 

Hire a motorcycle (habal-habal) going to the wet market in Mantalongon (20 minutes).

Fare: Php.75.00

From there, you can either:

Trek to from the market to the peak for about 2 plus hours, or

Hire another motorcycle going to the peak for about 15-20 minutes

Fare: Php.75.00

Registration Fee at the Peak: 20 Php

Note:  If you hired a motorcycle (habal-habal) from the Dalaguete junction to the registration booth of the peak, pay the driver directly and don't ask him to wait for you. If he refuses to receive the payment, insist! Because they will charge you Php.150.00 for waiting. Do not worry in going back, there are a lot of motorcycle there.

Cebu: Mahayahay Beach, Argao

 

Leave the city lights, smokes fromPUJ/PUV, and buses, and stressful workloads once in a while. Don't be too hard on yourself, at the end of the day.. you only have no one but yourself. So take a break, take a breath.

As we reward ourselves, our first stop was at the beach. Since, we are living in the city...

it took us hours before we get there. Unfortunately,  we didn't make to see the sunset. But, we stayed there for overnight so we able to see the sunrise.

1. Mahayahay Beach, Argao, Cebu 

Getting There:

Ride a bus bound for Argao or towns beyond Argao at Cebu South Bus Terminal. That would be more or less 1 and a half hour travel. The place is located at Looc, Poblacion, Argao, Cebu. Just tell the fare collector to drop you off at the first bus stop in Argao and ride a tricycle going to Mahayahay Beach.

Expenses:

Bus: 80 pesos (aircon bus)

Tricycle: 8 pesos

Entrance: no entrance fee

cottage:  150-200 (Daytime)

               200 (Overnight & no electrity)

               500 (Overnight & with electrity)

C.R/ Shower: 10.00

Note: Just bring your own foods and drinks.
